With the end of the men's football season coming with today's Euro 2016 Qualifiers (although we recommend the Women's World Cup on BBC3), it's time for Turnstile Blues to have a look back at 2014-2015, and hand out some awards:
ITFC Public Relations Department award for Public Relations fiasco: Moving under fives into the upper tier of the West Stand to "enhance the matchday experience for youngsters" and to protect them from flying footballs which NEVER go into the upper tier. Obvs.
The Marcus Evans award for Managementspeak Bullshit: Marcus Evans for his commitment to "strive to match up to market conditions" in the transfer market this summer.
Coach of the Year - Special "Longevity" Award: Paul Jewell for his week at West Bromwich Albion.
Doing Good Deeds But Don't Like To Talk About It Award: Tyrone Mings paying off his Mum's debts then mentioning it on social media.
Runner-up: Paul Anderson offering to pay for goal celebration-related ceiling damage.
Inflatable of the Year Award: Jointly awarded to everyone to took an inflatable to Southampton and to the Sunderland fans who greeted their new manager with inflatables that symbolised his name - and they weren't bottles of egg nog.
Annual Malcolm Tucker Inappropriate But Nevertheless Amusing Swearing Award: Luke Chambers for his captain's TV interview
TV Moment of the Year: Norwich fan Simon Thomas having to apologise for Luke Chambers' swearing to a backdrop of Town fans singing "are you watching Norwich scum?".
Online Event of the Year: Thousands of Town fans staring at a picture of Luke Chambers while waiting for the "expected queueing time" to creep towards zero, when trying to buy play-off semi-final tickets.
Best Song: "Twenty is plenty, Forty is naughty" aimed at Delia at the play-offs, when all adult tickets at Carrow Road were £25, and the cheapest Portman Road adult ticket was £32...
